Chacewater Winery Newsletter – June 2026

Vineyard Update from Matt
We wanted to share a quick update from the vineyard as the growing season is off to a very fast and encouraging start this year. Warm conditions and favorable early-season weather have helped move the vines along quickly, and across the vineyard we are seeing strong, healthy growth with excellent canopy development.
One of the most notable developments so far is that we are already beginning to see fruit set in some of our hotter blocks. This is an early sign of how quickly the season is progressing and reflects the strength and momentum we have seen in the vines to date. While there is still plenty of season ahead, it is exciting to see the vineyard advancing so well at this stage of the year.
As always, we will continue monitoring vine development closely in the weeks ahead and will keep you updated as the season unfolds. Thank you for being part of the journey with us. We look forward to sharing more from the vineyard soon.

We hope everyone is enjoying the beautiful weather we’ve been having. It looks like we’ll have great temperatures for our first-ever Live on the Lawn 2026 event this Saturday afternoon. We enjoyed visiting with many guests celebrating Mother’s Day last Sunday. Great music, wine, olive oil, and a lot of fun.
For this quarter’s release, we are offering our super popular Teal Chardonnay, which pairs excellently with almost any food. I noticed lots of guests enjoying a glass during our recent events. The Cabernet Sauvignon from our Estate Vineyard represents a clean, crisp, well-balanced Cabernet. On the nose, you’ll find dark chocolate, green peppercorn, pomegranate, and sweet tobacco. The mid-palate brings baking spices, fig paste, black currant, black cherry, and cocoa. It has a well-rounded mouthfeel with a long finish. I love pairing it with grilled meats, spaghetti, or pizza. My favorite! We are also offering our excellent Highlander Red Blend and our new Double Gold, 96-point California State Fair Engine House Sauvignon Blanc.
For this quarter’s Extra Virgin Olive Oil selection, Emilio has chosen our new super robust Favolosa. High in polyphenols, this intense EVOO also delivers powerful antioxidants that help fight inflammation and support healthy blood sugar levels. Also included is our very popular Manzanillo, a softer, milder EVOO and my personal favorite for salads.
Please be sure to check out our new website launching soon, which will feature current events and updates. As always, for those club members who cannot make it to the property, take advantage of free shipping on any orders over $100 during the week of June 1st – 6th.
Our crew and I wish you a wonderful rest of 2026. Thank you for your membership!
